  • Millenial Bike Ride, 7pm @ Vulture Space, 651 N Plankinton Ave: #Bike Ride for #Millennials and those that love them! We will hit up all the iconic spots in the city to take selfies 📷 and we will hit up a mall with plenty of stops along the way to send texts. We will also play a mashup of 🎶 loved by #millennials the world over! Bring a 🔊 , bring your phone, #selfie sticks highly encouraged and 👗 like a millennial (whatever that means)!!!!!!! Celebrity guests include: Camilla Cabello, Cardi B, T Swift, KP, Nicki Minaj and many more!!!! August 3rd:

  • Frothy Friday ride to Doctor’s Park traveling beer garden w/ Fyxation, 6-9pm @ Fyxation Bicycle Company, 2943 N Humboldt Blvd: Join us as we follow the Traveling Beer Garden up to Doctor’s Park. This is a no drop ride. We will leave Fyxation at 6 pm, taking the Oak Leaf Trail and Santa Monica Blvd up to Doctor’s Park. We will probably stop at Hubbard Park beer garden on the way back to Fyxation. Please make sure to have lights on your bikes, spare tubes and a helmet to keep you safe.
  • First Friday Alleycat, 7pm @ Fuel Cafe, 630 S 5th st: meet up for the ‘First Friday’ alleycat. Bring a pen, paper, and your fastest mindset.

August 4th:

  • Bike Tour from the Valley to the Lake: 9:30 am @3700 W Pierce St- Take a leisurely bike tour from our Menomonee Valley branch to the Lake. Trace the Valley’s history from a production center renowned for its rail cars to its present day transformation into a national model of sustainable redevelopment. Stops include: Three Bridges Park, The site of the Milwaukee Road Shops, Lakeshore State Park and Purple Door Ice Cream.
    $10 for UEC members, $15 for non-members
  • Washington and Sherman Park Neighbors Ride: 10am @ Urban Ecology Center- Washington Park, 1859 N 40th St- Bring your bike and helmet. Bikes will be inspected by BGC B!KE mechanics before the ride begins. Youth helmets will be provided on an as-needed basis while supplies last. Water will be provided at the start and midway point. If you would like to have some along the way, please bring it with you. water bottle, bike, some bikes are available based registration

August 5th: 

  • Biiike Breakfasttt!!!, 8-11am @ Oak Leaf Trail + Riverside Urban Ecology Center: In the morning, one typically requires nourishment of some sort to tackle the day. On Sunday mornings, we provide that nourishment to all bikers that pass us by as a way of saying ‘thank you’ and ‘please eat this pancakes we made you’ to all the bikers that bless our presence. It’s a potluck style event- so we’ll bring the hotcakes and you bring anything else that strikes your fancy.
  • Roll to We Are Water, 5:45- 9pm @ the bottom of the Brady Street Bridge in Veterans park: Come with 100 Days of Biking for a chill roll down to South Shore Park for We Are Water, an event that centers around celebrating the Great Lakes with loads of fun music, speakers, and artists! We’ll be rolling out at 5:45 and going for about 5.5 miles. Make sure to bring bike lights!

    with all the hootin’ and hollerin’ that can happen on bikes, it’s easy to forget the healing powers of good decisions and bikes! join the Health is Wealth ride as we slow-roll around Milwaukee drinking plenty of water, enjoying some natural beauty, and leaving our bodies in better shape than we found them! Expect a casual slow pace with no more than 10 miles of riding.

Drive: A part of Bronzeville Week- Meeting at the former Reader’s Choice Bookstore- A short ride tracing the boundaries of historic Bronzeville and extending into Harambee, Brewer’s Hill, Riverwest and the East Side then back.   • Bespoke Happiness, 5:30-7:70pm @ Lakefront Brewery: All are invited to join Bespoke Happiness and Monica Quesnell who will lead a bike ride for Milwaukee’s 100 Days of Biking event. The ride will be 20 miles in length, with the option for beginner riders to branch off with a Bespoke representative for a shorter 10 mile route. Helmets are required! Bespoke Happiness will give a brief presentation following the ride, as well as present the donation earned from Bespoke sales. Please join us at 7:30 p.m. for the presentation and donation if you are not able to make it for the bike ride. Bring $$$ or credit if you would like to purchase food/drinks from the brewery.
