  • Frothy Friday: 6pm @Fyxation Bike Shop:  Closing out the traveling beer garden season back where we started. We’ll head out from Fyxation and enjoy a ride along the lakefront and up to Juneau Park. On the way back we’ll make a stop at Hubbard Park beer garden before returning to Fyxation.Bring your friends, bring your lights, bring spare tubes.. But most of all – bring yourself. August 25th:

  • Neighborhood Cleanup: 11am @Riverwest Co-Op:The Riverwest Co-op Grocery & Cafe’s Sustainability Committee is hosting a neighbourhood cleanup to remove litter and plastics from our streets. We hope to encourage people to continue to pickup trash as a daily habit and to promote a life with less plastic. We will provide bags and gardening gloves. Please bring your own if you have these items (tongs or picker upper sticks work well too). We will be separating trash from recycling as we go.

August 26th:

  • Bike Breakfast! 
  • Chris’ Slow Roll: 8AM-3pm @ State Park Fairgrounds – Join us for our 3rd annual free, fun & family friendly Chris Kegel Slow Roll bike ride in Milwaukee, WI. This is a casual, no drop, 10 mile bike ride from State Fair Park towards downtown and back using trails and roads safe for cyclists.After the ride we end at Kegel’s Inn restaurant for a big tent celebration to commemorate the life of cycling legend, Chris Kegel.     https://www.facebook.com/events/1022800137857709/
  • Tosa Full Moon Ride, 8pm @ Pedestrian Plaza on 69th and North Ave-The Tosa Full Moon Ride is a celebration of bikes and the full moon, a winning combination! Meet up at the Pedestrian Plaza on 69th and North Ave, and be ready too roll out by 8pm. The ride will be followed up with drinks and fellowship at the Wauwatiki Bar and Grill!

August 27th:

  • FWOD (FRIENDS WITHOUT DRAMA) 7pm @ 651 N Plankinton Ave:  :Friends With Out Drama! MKE Weekly casual all inclusive ride for women, trans, and non binary people. All skill levels and all bicycles welcome. Meet at Vulture Space at 7:00 and roll out at 7:30. Rides are no drop, social pace, and under 10 miles.   • Bike With Bunkie, 6pm @ 6940 N. Santa Monica Blvd, Fox Point, WI 53217: Road bikes only please. This ride is intended for women interested in road riding only. This is a ladies only ride that has a great mix of experienced and beginning women riders. The routes could change depending on the time of year, mileage, and riders who show up. But if you’re a lady, and want to meet other riders, this is your ride. Bike with Bunkie! Distance is aprox. 25 miles.

  • Ticket to Ride – A Milwaukee Bike Polo Raffle Fundraiser, 9pm @ Company Brewing: September is just around the corner and for Milwaukee Bike Polo that means it’s fundraising time! At the end of September, Milwaukee will be hosting the North American Hardcourt Bike Polo Championships. This is a big event for everyone involved as people from Canada, Mexico, and regions all over the US will be competing for the North American title. In order to have an event that is exciting, inviting, and an overall success, we are in need of extra funds to get everything in place. That’s where the raffle comes in! On THURSDAY, AUGUST 30th at COMPANY BREWING, Milwaukee Bike Polo will be hosting the raffle party where you buy tickets and polo players get to ride in the biggest tournament of the year. The party will include a large variety of raffle prizes valued over $2,00 from many local businesses, our very own Corey Wolf spinning vinyls, small polo demonstrations with welcomed participation, and tons of good company! An alley cat will kick off the event at 7:30PM with a $5 buy in and will include prizes for first WTF and first male (keep your eyes peeled – details to come). The raffle and live DJ will start at 9PM. There is no entry fee. August 31st:

  • Summer Sendoff/ PIER PARTY:  It’s the last day of August.. and nobody needs to overanalyze but I think it’s safe that a sendoff needs to happen. We will meet up at the 100 Days HQ on booth st, and work our way down to Mckinley Pier for some booolin’. Bike Bar will probably make an appearance so bring bevvies, and things to cook as we will be cooking.

September 1st:

  • Harley Davidson Experience- a Bike Ride: 4:45-8 @1011 E Brady St: With the 115th Anniversary of Harley Davidson being celebrated this weekend, downtown Milwaukee is flooded with perhaps the highest per capita percentage of Harleys in the world. For better or worse, it’s a wild weekend of events and we will be taking some of the Harley culture in on our bikes. We will start at Glorioso’s off of Brady, and roll too our first stop, a block party ‘Kita’s Having a Harley Anniversary Party’ where we will roll through a Harley Party.   • Sunday Morning Pancake Potluck, 8:30-11 @ Riverside Urban Ecology center: The weekly pancake potluck is proven to not let you down. we provide pancakes for bikers, you bike, and bring anything else you think would add to a well rounded morning.

  • Wheelie Wednesday/Goon Ride, 7pm @ O’Donnell Park, 910 E Michigan St: Bring out your wild side and roll around the city with a bike squad like no other. Wheelies are not required.

September 6th:

  • Art All Around, 5:45 @ Milwaukee Rotary Centennial Arboretum: Milwaukee is packed with murals and sculptures- on this ride will roll past some Milwaukee staples that everyone will recognize as well as some hidden gems. Meet at 5:30. We will be rolling out of the Arboretum at 5:45 and arrive at the MAM by 7ish (aprox 10 miles). Since it is the first Thursday of September, admission is free for all until 8PM. Bring lights, a helmet, and an open mind 🙂

September 7th:

  • First Friday- an alleycat, 6:30pm @Burns Commons: $3 for the dudes. $0 for the W/T/F’s This is an all ages, all abilities event. Speed and strength may not help. Part scavenger hunt, part alleycat. We will meet at the Burns Commons, be there at 6:30. Race starts at 7:01pm. Race ends at 9pm at Finks.   • The Great 48: A Co-op Bike Ride, 7am @ 2826 S Kinnickinnic Ave: Join Outpost for a 48 mile community bike ride to all of our store locations! Join us for some… or all of the ride! Entry includes a complimentary string backpack filled with goodies at check in, snacks & beverages at each stop, a bag lunch at our Mequon store, beer tickets, entry into a prize drawing and so much more!   • Estabrook DIY Fundraiser Jam: 12pm @ Estabrook Skate Park: A fun day of biking, skating, scootering, and whatever else at Milwaukee’s very own DIY, Estabrook! We’ll be hosting mini contests for bikes, raffling bmx parts and items from local businesses, and slanging food and drinks in support of fresh concrete ramps! The Estabrook DIY park is located just south of the Beer Garden since 2010. Til the wheels fall off. bmx bikes or skateboards are encouraged, but anyone is welcome to hang and enjoy the day.

September 9th:

There will be food and drinks at Booth St for the beginning, where we can share memories from the summer before we head out for the main event at 11:30- owning the Hoan.   Keep in mind the Hoan is not a sanctioned bike path, but we will have strength in numbers and Monday nights are not a busy time. were just going to fucking send it
